Origin DRM - I have this game on origin already, ORIGIN DOES NOT LIKE THIS, I have to close origin with task manager then reopen it, then mash the steam play button hoping it works.
Malicious AI civilians - Always seem to get in the way, sometimes it feels like they are intentionally trying to get into an accident. There are no characters and no story to speak of. Most Wanted List - The introductions are trippy, but there is no real attachment. Liberty park, Needlepoint - Worst events in the game. Awful cop AI - As usual with cops in games you can sometimes see them spawn and instantly see you restarting the chase. Rubberbanding - I did notice a couple of instances of AI suddenly getting a ridiculous speed boost if they fall too far behind. No customization - Unfortunately there is absolutely no customization, you have minimal control over even coloration. Police Chase game mode is also integrated in NFS Most Wanted. Trippy introductions - Every event (race, ambush, most wanted, etc) is preceded with a trippy video. Either you can do a quick race or you can play with time limit. Somewhat arcade controls - Not a realistic driving sim, but also not quite an arcade racing game (I just played the NFS Hot Pursuit and that was too far into arcade racing for me). Soundtrack - Personal choice, but I love a lot of the music used, with Heaven’s Basement - I Am Electric probably being my favorite. Every car has a set of races attached that unlock modifications for that car, making the majority of the game bouncing between different cars to get 1st place in all events. Short tutorial - Game doesn’t get bogged down with stuipid stories.
Most cars are available at the start - Don’t need to grind a currency to obtain a car you want. Casual - A very casual game overall that provides some challenge, but not too stressful.
